Middle-earth Extended Edition is a project with the goal of expanding the game with new units, heroes, spells and factions as well as adding unused features existing in the game and bringing more realism to its combat system.

how do u install it ??
I wrote how in a comment in Version 0.5, but if cant find it, install it like any other mod without an installer.

This version adds 4 new unint, 12 powers spellbook for skirmish, Deezire's extended edition and 8 black house colors for multiplayer. To install it :
1. Download the mod.
2. Put it in "My Battle for Middle Earth Files".
2.b) If you cant find it its in :
for XP in C:\Documents and Settings\YOURCOMPNAME\Application Data\My Battle for Middle-earth Files,
and if you are using Windows 7 its C:\Users\YOURCOMPNAME\App Data\Roaming\My Battle for Middle Earth Files".
Note that Application Data folder is hidden so you have to go to Control Panel and in Folder Options make "show Hidden folders and files".
3. Right-Click your game shortcut and at the end of the "Target" box add " -mod extendededition.big" (without " of course so that it looks like "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth (tm)\lotrbfme.exe" -mod extendededition.big.
4. Click Apply and Ok and launch the game.

i have done every step but when i load up Lotr BFME Skirmish it's nothing there! it is just the original BFME???
Check if you wrote -mod extendededition.big, correctly. It wont work if its written wrong.

Well reinstall it, and if that doesn't work then I don't know how to help you.
Is version 1 necessary to install this one?
This is version 1. And all versions are standalone versions that dont require previous versions to play.
what is the start in box say in the properties of the extended version because i accidentaly deleted it and i cant get it back.
If you are having trouble with the mod, install .75 and install patch 3 and it took me 2 minutes to get it working. It has its own installer and shortcut!!!
