METAL GEAR SOURCE: Asperity of Sentience mod for Half-Life 2

MGSource is a new MoD built on the Source engine. The story is based on Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid games created by Hideo Kojima and Konami Corp. Some events and characters have been fabricated for the sake of creativity, but the premise and majority of the plot is a retelling of the events in Mr. Kojima's games, but from a new perspective.

This project was started by Jean-Marie Scheid and Adam Marston of Radius Solis, and is presently looking for talented, inspired individuals to build a solid development team. Desired positions include, but are not limited too: scripters, Animaters, Texture Artists, Modellers, Skinners, Mappers, Voice Actors, Concept Artists, Designers, and Sound Editors.

UPDATE 11/17/06 We are not dead! Although I know it looks grim we of MGSource are simply looking high and low for coders, mappers, texture artists and modellers! We have a few people on the team but are in desparate need of more! We have been working a little behind the scenes with story lines, voice actors, and dialogue. Synopsis: Frank Jager died by the hands of another operative (though by his own instigation). The fatal blow was delivered by Solid Snake-Not by desire, but necessity. The esoteric FOXHOUND organization secretly withdrew his body from the sands of Zanzibar Land, claiming their reasons were confidential.
Four years after his death, FOXHOUND had almost come to a close on the private project known as Carpe Diem. While elements of the operation were scattered and even hoaxed, the portion of valid premise that remained involved genetic research. While the project focused on historical genetic data of the lab subject, other discoveries were made.
The body of Operative Fox was cryogenically sustained for almost half a decade, but after correlating oppinions derived from noteable osmosis research amongst the dead, the Carpe Diem faction of FOXHOUND had relayed that Mr. Jager had more than just cells to offer. If Cloning is a dream of science, then resurection is the nightmare, sleeping on the back of minds were the wild things grow.

Also, watch out for Jean-Marie and Adam at Otakon this year in Baltimore, MD on Aug 4-6. They'll be disguised as Raiden and Big Boss (respectively) and will be handing out MGSource fliers that mention recruitment opportunities (and silly pictures : P)
