A free unofficial expansion pack for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, which retells, expands and continues the story of the original game. Enhanced with Ares DLL, Mental Omega strives to bring many new features to the game, including a 133-mission campaign, cooperative and a brand new faction: the Foehn Revolt.
Here's a new addition to the Latin Confederation's tech tree: the Prison Facility. By sending the prisoners you captured with Drakuvs into this building you will acquire additional infantry tech and resources.
Ares DLL 'reverse engineering' logic allows you to send captured infantry here and gain the ability to train them from Barracks. However, if you lose this structure or if it gets infiltrated by a spy, you will lose all the acquired technology.

Mission only or is going to be in SP/MP also?
If it was a mission-only addition, I would note it.
While I wasn't informed of this at first, sounds like it'll be SP/MP too, having the role of EMP Station for Confed.
Is there any specific building for Russia?
They already have the Stalin´s Fist.
DETAIN AMERICANO
Sweet addition. Reminds me of the POW system in Act of War, though that one just gives you a steady flow of income per prisoner. Oh and the intended POW system in Generals that would juice up a support power.
Will this structure be in the ninth Epsilon mission (Killing Fields)? It would fit perfectly.
Yeah, it'll be there.
Finaly! Soon we can store prisoners of war somewhere :D keep up the good work.
(buried)
prison facility ?? what the f"k now the prisoners are managers and scientists what about bird facility
Why don't you just shut the fùck up?
Don't bother Dynamo, nothing will ever teach this stubborn idiot.
Speeder.....pleaseeee make the campaign a lil bit easier ......just a lil bit.....those Epsilon missions are very hard
Its not that the missions are hard, they just need to add saving...doing it in one run can get annoying when one little thing can make you completely restart.
Wait, if the prison gets destroyed, does the captured infantry return to its respective factions or do they get destroyed along with the Prison Facility?
Its an infantry only grinder, every infantry that goes inside dies :P
If you can't beat 'em, steal 'em.
Awesome, i like the idea of a prison facility, keep up the great work.
Nice.
I love to collect technologies, with this building it will be more easy.
And some questions:
Build limit 1, right?
Can it be captured?
Will i get money like from grinder, or it will provide me nothing more than stoleh tech?
Build limit 1, can't be captured.
You'll get money (50% of the soldier's worth) for the prisoners you send to it.
Wait, since this means it's a second economic enhancement building, would this mean that the Industrial Plant is Russia only, or is there something different planned?
I kinda like it if they keep both.
How about it being a replacement for the Industrial plan for Confed only?
No since, economicaly talking, it´s not as worth as an Industrial Plant.
It´s just a counterpart for the EMP and the Stalin´s Fist.
You have to remember you have to capture the enemy infantry first. Which basicallly involves... Stealing Infantry with Drakuv, Undeploying it then making those infantry enter the Prison. In most cases the Confederation Player would only probably steal 1 of each infantry.
Industrial plant is better though, cause it constantly provides income, unlike the prison facility, which requires infantry. So that's why i vote for keeping both.
There is nothing to vote. They will have both. :P
the allies need a super machine like yuri has Irkalla the soviets has thee siege crawler. The allies need something
Mercury Satelite.
Thor, you can build infinite numbers of them.
just the Americans though
Only China has Centurion and only HQ has Irkalla. smh
Is The latin's facility for the prisoners should to be available on the scav mode replaces the grinder?
That means the grinder for the epsilons on the scav mode.
And the prison facility for the soviets and a new building for allied have a revers engineering logic like the prison facility and the grinder.
Oh! And the chatastroph's voxel reminds me of the hamburger.
What's the use of it?
Let's you reverse-engineer (as in it consumes infantry you send into it) infantry that you can now train. Like send a GI in and boom you can now train GIs without building the Allied Barracks.
If this structure now belongs to all soviets, does it mean the reverse engineering ability has been removed? Russia and China do not have Drakuvs or other way to capture POWs
