A free unofficial expansion pack for Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge, which retells, expands and continues the story of the original game. Enhanced with Ares DLL, Mental Omega strives to bring many new features to the game, including a 133-mission campaign, cooperative and a brand new faction: the Foehn Revolt.
Drakuv Troop Crawler.. a troop crawler in name. In fact, it is a heavily armored vehicle which can be used to imprison enemy troops. The vehicle itself heals infantry nearby and can also be used as a fast & durable transport.
At the moment, enemy soldiers can be captured as prisoners with this vehicle, when their health is below 20%. Player can then use them on the battlefield or simply dispose of them. There is also an idea to enable ReverseEngineering for Confederation, affecting T1 and T2 infantry.
Note: The unit may end up as a mission-specific. Prisoner capture is done with Ares Abductor logic

imprisonment reminds me of Act of War =)
it's said this is a transport, but do soldiers can shoot out of it?
yet, what does mean "Player can then use them on the battlefield"?
and what is that in top left corner?(a structure.. a unit..)
sorry for so many questions, couldn't hold 'cause it looks great! and hope it won't be a mission specific unit, or i'd have to add it for own playing(it's too interesting to lose it)
No, soldiers can't shoot out of it because OpenTopped and Abductor don't go with each other for now.
Use them on the battlefield -> well, current implementation is that you can simply change side. That other idea mentioned is that you'd send them to a special building and after that you'll be able to train them from your barracks (think of I'VE GOT YOUR WEAPONS NOW, HA, ReverseEngineering basically) but I haven't confirmed the second thing yet.
Reverse Engineering sounds interesting, but as Epsilon gonna have similar technology, some american-block country would need to have something similar too..
what own weapon does it have?
No, Epsilon isn't going to use ReverseEngineering in MO. That part in the video was just a demonstration.
a bit disappointed(this tech suited them). then i'm even more interested in Drakuv getting it.!
Okay, I was wrong about OpenTopped not working with Abductor. However Drakuv will not be OpenTopped.
I don't think most people will actually manage to put an enemy infantry under 20% health without killing them, let alone capturing that wounded infantry.
Yeah, that's why if we are not able to tweak it "nicely" for skirmish game, it will stay as a mission unit.
Me like :)
What makes them go in only at 20% or less health?
Ares. The logic isn't completely done iirc, but it's on its way there I heard.
I was a big tester of the Abductor logic, but I never saw a health-related way to abduct. o.O

Neat Graion, cool to see some useful enhancements to this logic.
Easily my Favorite YR mod of all time, it's pretty easy to understand why.
