Hi, I love this mod!


One small issue I have noted is that all units armed with plasma weapons do not want to use them. They will select grenades or pistols rather than use their plasma gun. If they run out of ammo for the alternative weapon they just hide and get shot rather than use the plasma weapon they are armed with. This may also happen with melta guns but I have not tested this as thoroughly.


Not sure if anyone else has noted this.

This is a known issue, im working on fixing it :)

To me, if the soldier carries multiple weapons, is seems as though it has something to do with the order that the weapons are listed in that soldier's DEF file. If the soldier only has one weapon, he only uses that weapon. I would be interested in hearing the solution to making a multi weapon armed soldier always use a particular weapon first. Please let us know the solution to this.

Well the flame trooper switches at close range, the grenade launcher guardsman will fire grenades first, just melta guns and plasma guns have an issue. The meltaguns is due to their limited range i believe. I will post a patch when it is solved.
