Hey man, still loving this mod, and I've put a ton of hours into the game with just IG, SP, Chaos, and Tau in the game. Eagerly awaiting the new race and the next update!

But something I wanted to point out was that the Basilisk's don't really....fight like how you'd expect a Basilisk to fight. The drivers seem to think they're a jeep and drive them right into the middle of enemy lines solely to use it's mounted machine guns, and the cannon on it has little to no sound, with a very small and weak explosion when it does decide to fire it. Also, it shoots straight ahead and cant shoot up and over like one would expect from a mortar vehicle like a Basilisk.

So my suggestion is if you use the "Ha-To" vehicle's model as a base, and maybe just skin the Basilisk over it, or use the Ha-To as it's main cannon if possible? The Ha-To is a vehicle with a MASSIVE missile on it that has a long reload rate. The missile though....does HUGE damage and creates devastation on a glorious scale! And it fires in an arc and can be shot from halfway across the map in game XD While it does not have mounted machine guns, this vehicle is more in line with how a Basilisk usually behaves. Right now, the Ai kinda treats it like a jeep or chimera, that has a cannon on top that can only be shot in a straight line. This is just a suggestion though, and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts?

Is don't want to detract from the essence of your comments. I just want to support, and reinforce, what you have said. Artillery should be given the realistic effect in the mod, that it deserves to have. Artillery is a very effective tool of warfare, and this needs to be reflected in the mod. The Imperium, in particular, uses it in massive amounts. Firepower is their key to success.

it would be great to see as many Imperial artillery vehicles and weapons (SM and IG) in the mod as possible. Until then, many of the MOWAS 2 WW2 wheeled and SP artillery weapons make very good stand-ins for IG artillery weapons. E.G. the Hummel 150mm SP gun, and both versions of the Neibelweffer rocket artillery launchers.

I am also loving the mod!!

The artillery was ripped straight from the men of the emperor mod, except reskins, and haven't been touched by me yet. One day ill get round to doing it, as you can tell there is a lot of stuff that needs work :P
