The Cold War was a state of political and military tension after World War II between powers in the Western Bloc (the United States, its NATO allies and others such as Japan) and powers in the Eastern Bloc (the Soviet Union and its allies in the Warsaw Pact). Historians have not fully agreed on the dates, but 1946-1991 is common. It was "cold" because there was no large-scale fighting directly between the two sides, although there were major regional wars in Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan that the two sides supported. The Cold War split the temporary wartime alliance against Nazi Germany, leaving the USSR and the US as two superpowers with profound economic and political differences: the former being a single-party Marxist-Leninist state and the latter being a capitalist state with free elections. This mod presents the player with many Communist and Capitalist nations in a scenario where war has broken out between the Warsaw Pact and NATO/UN nations.

Imho in your mod the marines look like every other US army units, maybe they could be better if they were dressed up like in Korea war:

Pixstel.com

It could be easier to differentiate them of other soldiers.
Great work btw :)

Thank you. On a side note, I'm really tired of saying it, but this mod is set in the 1960s, not the 1950s. All units are reflective of that era.

Forget what I said about Korea, I don't know why I talk of Korea... :/
I was thinking that if you give them a reversed mitchell helmet cover (the orange cloud thing)that would give them an unique look while keeping using 60s era gears :)

I agree with that. The marines were really the only ones who stuck with the flak jackets, the only thing I could think of to make them look more like marines would be to make it seem like they have more ww2 or Korean war looking gear since marines always get stuck with the old stuff. But that's really not even all that necessary.

I just got say, I know I've already said it but this just confirms what I said is true.

I think your mod is amazing, you are so meticulous with your models. They look stellar. With Red Rising, they have a ton of units but each with poorly reskinned models and dirty textures. Unlike your mod has amazing attention to detail on each and every soldier/vehical.

I can't imagine how tedious that must've been but that it why I am so excited for this mod. So keep it up!

this is really good but just some textures are inaccurate, like the marines wearing camo pants, and the camo on the helmet isn't correct either.
Warrelics.eu should be like this, the camo is the mitchell pattern

Also on the 82d AB you should make them wear standard camo helmets too, instead of the nets with 506th PIR marking (which is a 101AB unit)
