Medieval Kingdoms: Total War is a total conversion of Total War: Attila with brings the game to the high middle ages, set in the starting year of 1212 AD going until 1453 AD. This mod will completely revamp the game with new factions, units and much much more! (Yes this is the same mod team as for the Rome 2 version.)

Regional grouping, not cultural grouping. Useful to cram more factions to the faction selection.

Isn't he the wrong race? Attila has both sub-saharan AND aethiop character models which look different from each other.

Not necessarily. He's Sudanese, not Ethiopian.
For Africans DFM use Rome 2 Nubian, extra blackened skins for Nilotics, darkened Attila arabian/eastern with african hairstyle for Afroasiatics. He don't like Attila EoS skins because he think most of them are too "wooden" i.e. too exaggerated and not natural enough. The model variance/mixture used differs on unit to unit depending on their origin.

Hmm okay... Imo the Attila EoS skins are a step up compared to the usual americanized portrayals where afroasiatics don't even exist and everything is either white or west african looking (which fits the hollywood actor pool). But I'll agree the EoS faces look a bit exaggerated up close. Also I have no idea how sudanese people looked in the 1200's so you're probably right I just assumed he was ethiopian-ish.

I don't know if you should realy just cramp up the faction rooster with every little pissant faction and rather do that after the release of a core mod.
