Mechcommander OmniTech is a standalone game based on Mechcommander 2 shared source code release by Microsoft. A game based in the universe of a great and fun franchise, a game with lots of tactical components and full of possibilities. There is no need for Mechcommander 2 installation nor disk.

Pilot Hire screen finished.
Another excellent dimension to the economic aspect of this game. At the very beginning of MC2's history, earning money stopped being important because you pretty much had all you needed and there was no way to "lose" money other than making a purchase.
In addition to repairing Mechs post-mission, buying individual weapons systems, and the ability to purchase drop weight and additional resources, this requirement to pay your pilots rounds out the "money-in/money-out" element of campaign planning.
Loved this universe since MW2!
