The new installer adds a diverse choice for your end result game play but works through 2 main options, due to wingmen also disrupting normal Single player missions they are only available in open single player and multiplayer.
Option 1 - Difficulty
As this mainly changes npc's, it applies more to Np and Op than MP.

Alters the ship used in Single player start.

Option 3 - Play Style
3.1 Normal Single Player (Np) - Normal Mission Play for Clients + contains the Rebalance universe but you play through the normal game with cuts and missions.
3.2 Open Single Player (Op) - Open Single Player for Clients - contains the Rebalance universe but you have open play with the faction start, this mode also includes cluster missiles.
3.3 Multi Player Only (Mp) - This is for clients who play multiplayer only, this option has the cloaks enabled on most ships, Cloaks are still server dependant but you need this mode to take advantage of them. As cloaks are only available in Mp all single player will be disabled in this option.
Option 4 - Cap Encounters
This controls the EFA and Edge systems cap ship encounter density.
4.1 High
4.2 Med
4.3 Low
4.4 None - Used if you have High server load or just don't want Cap encounters.
Option 5 - Wingmen
5.1 Commodity Scanning - This is the default routine for Illegal cargo checks in-game, this mode is compatible with all Option one choices.
5.2 Wingmen - This enables Wingmen chips in-game but overwrites commodity scanning, Wingmen are not compatible with Np. You can use wingmen with OP and MP but if you choose Option 1.1 and then choose option 4.2 the wingmen will overwrite Np with Op.
Option 6 - Resolution
5.1 Original Resolution.
5.2 Dynamic Resolution.
Option 6 - Graphics
5.1 Original Graphics.
5.2 ENB Graphics.
Option 6 - Music
5.1 Original Music.
5.2 Custom Music.
