Max Payne @ University is a Total Conversion for the first Max Payne game. The main setting is the real life premises and surrounding areas of the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department a.k.a CEID in Patras, Greece. This modification integrates the Kung Fu Deluxe Engine and the Enemy Kung Fu engine. It also features 5 level maps, some new weapons, and a story with two possible endings.
Use this patch for the mod ONLY IF while playing Max Payne@University the game throws randomly a directx error (especially in the Bring Down the House level) stating: "Exception: DirectX allows only 65536 vertices per primitive. Closing..."

This patch is intended for the mod and has nothing to do with the official 1.05 patch. However, it has no conflicts whatsoever with the game or the patched 1.05 version.
The patch effectively reduces (actually restores the original game value for) the amount of destruction that can be done in a room and seems to resolve the forementioned directx error.
