Max Payne @ University is a Total Conversion for the Max Payne game. The mod is set on scenery transported from the real life premises and surroundings of the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department a.k.a CEID in Patras, Greece. The mod's features include the Kung Fu Deluxe Engine, the Enemy Kung Fu engine, some new weapons and a good story with two possible endings.

Use this patch for the mod ONLY IF while playing Max Payne@University the game throws randomly a directx error (especially in the Bring Down the House level) stating: "Exception: DirectX allows only 65536 vertices per primitive. Closing..."

If while playing the mod the Max Payne game throws randomly a directx error (especially in the Bring Down the House level) stating:
"Exception: DirectX allows only 65536 vertices per primitive. Closing..."
you could try this patch for the mod!

Please read the instructions written in the "About the patch.txt" file which is included in this zip archive.

This patch is intended for the mod and has nothing to do with the official 1.05 patch. However, it has no conflicts whatsoever with the game or the patched 1.05 version.

The patch effectively reduces (actually restores the original game value for) the amount of destruction that can be done in a room and seems to resolve the forementioned directx error.
