Humans, Elves and Dwarves live in a world of monsters and greed, their once great cities now dust in the ground, struggling to rebuild while the Orcs that survived Felewyn’s wrath plague the lands.

These are the times you live in.
Perhaps you can make history, yourself.

Set in the popular Fate Sworn universe, (the gameworld in which the Half-Life modification Mastersword was set) Master Sword: Source is an upcoming Online Role Playing Game. A total modification for the Orangebox engine. Master Sword: Source is set to provide the penultimate RPG experience for the Source engine!

The list of planned features includes:
3 playable races
Melee, Ranged, and Magical combat
Robust NPC interaction and Quest system
Unique Bartering system based on skills
The ability to play as a Good or Evil player, even so far as siding with the monsters!
Extensive beta1 gameworld that will continually get larger as further versions are released!

You only need half-life 2 to play this game right?
And also, any info about release date? like 3 months+?

Making real maps isn't a quick thing, it DOES take time. If you have the ability to make presets, they help as well, for example a town in one area can be greatly different if you move a few prominant buildings around, and change the skins.

Simple things speed up the process, but in general its not easy.

displacements are going to be a big part to our maps, you should get some practice and read some tuts. Practice, practice, practice is all you need, no real "tricks" around it.

Going to try and upload my latest shots of helena tonight.

If you want, I can help out with the mapping. I used to map for Halo and UT3, when I moved on to this, it was a piece of cake (which is a lie, so a piece of pie)
