Dark Alliance tries to offers you an unique gameplay, and story. Some of what Dark Alliance offers is listed down here.
* The mod is hosted by Phrozen Keep
* Completly new skillsystem (no information about that is added yet to the website)
* A lot of new monsters (many old diablo1 monsters will make a comeback)
* New variation of monsters: New monster classes are added, new monster abilities, and monsters wears its own equippment.
* Extended world: You will play three different campaigns (each campaign contains 5 chapter each with total of 15 chapters). Also each chapter has added a lot of new overground & underground areas.
* New story: The first campaign will still follow the same story as the original game, but the two other campaigns will have a completly new story
* New subquest system: You are able to get new quests that are additional to the Main quests. You get this quest even randomly.
* Each class has its own Book of Story that keeps important events and current quests and are an important part of Dark Alliance.
* New items: A lot of new basic, set, unique items has been added. Also new items like monster specific items has been added.
* New Runewords, Craftrecipes and monster recipes has been added.

Spell books!
Spell books are created by powerful magicians. They contain powerful magic’s that have a limit of use, but it enables everyone who uses the book to release a powerful spell based on the magic that are imbued to the book. These books can also store spells and contain magical abilities that the wearer has use for when they equip the item. There are five different spell book groups known to the world.
Spell Scrolls!
Spell scrolls contains magic from different type of spell groups. They can only be used once before they vanish. They can also be stored into a spell book. A spell scroll can be one of the five known group of spell book magic’s.
General Information about Affixes
The affixes are going to change quite a lot in Dark Alliance. There are a lot of completely new modifiers (currently over one hundred are added), as well all the existing ones are going to be used also. The affixes are grouped into different rarity groups (Unique, Rare, Uncommon and Common).

crashes all the time. Crash when im using air elemental, crash when i try to make a portal to cow valley, etc. Resetting map layout after new game is really bad, after so many crashes we have to search the areas over and over again... Not fun m8

Have you installed 10.14 and 10.21.3? If you have try restart comp until it work. Current version have aslr issues.
Is this mod still being developed? Phrozen Keep forum isn't really active as well.
Yes its in active dev. We are working on remove all old code in d2game.dll to get rid of aslr issues. Currently down to 67 asm hooks to recode. Next planned patch is for internal testers and patch after Will be next public patch. ETA is before d2: r is released.
