The reapers have returned from dark space. With Earth under attack and the mass relays in a state of chaos from refugees and the councils fleet engaging reaper forces the galaxy is a mess. The outcome is unknown, the warfare is devastating. The galaxy will never be the same.

If I am understanding this picture correctly, the ships from left to right are: frigate, cruiser, carrier, heavy cruiser, battleship, and titian. Am I right?

I think that might be a colony ship or colony capital, not a carrier, but who knows.

Would just like to re-state that despite seeing them all lined up like this they do appear to be wayyyyyy to minimalistic and sleek to be batarian... They look to be more quarian or even prothean given how they loved to do the whole modern minimalistic approach to their stuff... Still though, they are pretty.

The Batarians sold the Quarians their outdated ships. N00b.

Yes but the Quarians also made numerous changes to the ships as well. That still doesn't cover the point I am making by pointing out how a sleek design such as this doesn't really fit the idea of a civilization that endorses a rigid hegemony and slavery to boot. You'd expect something that looked much more brutal.

Furthermore, A while back Set even stated that he and a friend of his put a lot of thought into the mindset of the batarians and how their ships would look. Which is how we got the previous designs that in my opinion definately fit the batarians a lot better in the sense that they feel more aggressive the way everything seems to be coming at you from the very front of the ship.

In Mass Effect most of the ships are sleek designs. These are also official Bioware creatoons.
