Description
Meant to be used as a recon scout this ship has minimal weaponry but is fast, very fast. The fastest ship in the Batarian fleet it can move in and out of systems so fast that even reapers cant keep tabs on them.
I really like the art direction you guys are going with the Batarian ships. Very distinctive.

I can only think of the scout frigate moving faster than nobody's business as a fighter scout, not a frigate scout...That's just me, though. =P Nice model, though! =)
ya, when you say scout frigate, i think of something like what the original Normandy was designed for.
I have no Idea why, I love these ships as Batarian ships, and just vessels in general....but I have a sinking feeling that it doesnt look like a Mass Effect vessel, just to point out one question here.
Will you put the engine filrents on the ships somewhere?
they are the thrust parts of the normandy for people to get a broader understanding, as I saw it in the series of the game almost every ship had them, with the exception of the reapers and Asari Ships...and Collectors. But the Batarians are not as advanced as those.
Even the Humans had them, Turians, Quarians etc.
The Batarians are around Galactic Standard. These ships have thrusters they are the back and big just not pictured quite as well as they should. These ships conform to every mass effect standard i know. As well as Batarian racial qualities.

no offense or anything coz i do like the ships but shouldnt they be a little more distinctive from each other they all look like they are going to be different sized versions of the same ship
well they have the same superstructure but not exactly the same, each ship is unique to one another.
when you look at a sky scraper they each have the same basic superstructure aside from a few details. but they dont all look alike.
yh i get that the ships should look similar as each race would build there ships around a similar base structure but the ships have very little in the way of distinction between them other than the dread although i admit it will probably be the scale that will provide this
picture it this way, all other races are the same way, look at turians and their design, and humans all based around the same simplistic design but they are different where it counts.
yh i get what you mean i just hope that the texture and scaling will make them more unique
Not to be condescending but the batarians are notoriously violent. If i picture myself as one i would still be putting a hell of a lot more guns on my scout ship than need be even though it would cost me speed/ maneuverability.
