Make Them Die Slowly mod for Half-Life 2

All you were trying to do was enjoy your night. Then that guy showed up at the bar and went apeshit. The bodies... all mutilated and eaten. After about three hours the attackers are identified. They are nicknamed the "Skinnies" because of their build. They are very pale, thin, and fast. Hell, they out-run cars. You happened to be driving along the wrong road at the right time. It jumped out in front of you and smashed the windshield, wildly attacking you. It snared your hand and tore a chunk out, growling fiercely at you. Being a true gunman, you bring a .45 to it's head and blow it away. As you head into town, you realize the intensity of the problem. People are chased down in the dirt roads and eaten, others hole up in their homes and kill anyone who comes near. Little do you know a greater evil is growing in power somewhere in the town. Will it kill you? Maybe. Will you kill it? Maybe not. One thing is for sure, that bite hurts like a motherfucker. You feel nauseous, and your starting to see things; disturbing images of mutilation and murder. Is this an omen?

A bite system:

In the course of the game, you MUST NOT let yourself get bitten more than three times, or else the infection will spread through your body on the exact instant of the fourth bite. Now the Skinnies don't primarily bite, but on rare occasions will do so. If you become infected, you will turn into a Skinny (yes, you will play as one) for just a while. As you run around as a Skinny, the citizens of Scrag will shoot at you, and you cannot regain health. So in truth, it doesn't last long. Plus you have the same health as they do, which is only 80.

Fatal Wounds (Only in Hard Mode):

If you are attacked by either a Water Demon, Giant Bug, or shot by a citizen or Cleanup Soldier, you have a 75% chance of sustaining a critical wound. Critical wounds are contantly bleeding, and make you lose speed and health at a dangerous rate. If they are not treated immediatley (you have to use a bandage pack) the wounds will become fatal. It will switch to third-person view and you'll see yourself crawling on the ground, blood trailing behind you. Then you'll die.

Mini-Quests:

In your travels (regardless of the difficulty) you will see citizens in trouble. If you save them or help them escape to their home, they will give you ammo and a health pack. Some citizens must be saved in order to progress further in the game, for example the owner of a gunshop. He is the one who will give you a car (in Easy and Hard Mode Only) and most of your weapons that normal southerners wouldn't have on hand (like the Assault Rifles)
