The funny thing about these two special cabins (aside from bathroom windows open to a public promenade!) was that, being late additions, they weren't labeled in the passenger plans. As a consequence, cross-channel passenger Frank Browne (booked in A-37, on the other side) had quite some difficulty finding his cabin. And yes, the A-36 we're seeing here was indeed occupied by none other than Thomas Andrews. He isn't mentioned in the recovered 1st class passenger list, but bedroom steward Henry S. Etches gave it out in the American Inquiry. His testimony can be read here: Titanicinquiry.org

(And yes, I know I already said the above in Facebook, but who cares.)

Thanks for the info!
It is fun to see how almost every detail of Titanic has it's own story.

two more screenshots. One showing the fake windows where cabin A-36 was located behind. I believe Thomas andrews occupied this cabin.

The other screenshot shows the Smoking room entrance with the big window next to it.
