LOUD launcher stuck in "updating to latest version" Thread - LOUD PROJECT mod for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance

Sorry for bad english, i started the LOUD game launcher for the first time and it stuck in the updating loading screen for hours so i cant do anything. i check the Loud folder size to check for progress but it doesnt change from 2.40 gb and my internet is around 1mbps so not so bad i think. i think the folder itself came with the steam install so i guess its validating files? i already excluded the steam folders from AV. And since the discord and manual download link is in the launcher itself im quite literally stuck.

This usually indicates that you did not start the launcher with Administrator privileges. What has happened is that the launcher has downloaded an update to itself - and it wants to delete the original - but it cannot.

There are two solutions - remove the launcher file entirely - and just download the current version from ModDB - or make sure you run the launcher as Admin.

Same problem at m end.
Already tried to remove everything, redownload the manager and also start it as admin.

I'm using 5.7.5 and windows 10.
According to the task manager the disk and network activity of the process are 0%.

After a hour of 0% activity it was done.
Someone should optimize the progressbar or fileserver.

I should post the 5.7.6 update as the actual download. Thanks for alerting me to this. The usual reason for this is that you have not run the application with administrator authority, which prevents the launcher from deleting the old EXE and replacing it with the new one.
