Developed over the last 9 years, the LOUD Project is a complete reworking of the core code for Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. Focusing specifically on improving not only the AI, but overall game performance - LOUD can now easily run games with 5000+ units, at normal speed, on 40k and larger maps. The package includes subsets of many of the most popular mods, adapted specifically for use with the LOUD project, and an entire collection of updated maps specifically marked to optimize performance with the LOUD project.
Hands down the best "mod" for supreme commander that I have tried.
The AI in such a game is a very important thing
Absolutely one of the best modification packages available for Supreme Commander. The optimizations to performance and the improvements to the AI put FAF to shame. Clearly a project that has a lot of work, heart and soul put into it, easily demonstrated by how on-the-ball and challenging the AI is, and how smoothly the game runs under a few thousand unit load, with several AI. The AI kicks my *** repeatedly and I still come back for more. The legends behind the project are always tinkering, testing and tweaking to make the experience perfect, and the mod breathes much needed life back into the game.
Good fun, all that you could expect or want, better performance and includes tailor made compatible major mods. Top tier setup/installation/launcher!!!
100% better A.I. over stock and runs great with multiple A.I.'s in a game with out slowing down.
The ai finally reacts to threats and makes attacking enemy bases a actually challenge you need to think through.It's a huge improvement to the regular ai.
Playing with thousands of units without the game seconds taking as long as real time minutes really means something. A huge improvement over the original sluggish skirmishes and a blessing for players who enjoy long and big battles against the AI, which is also smarter.
