"Because nobody knows style like Anthony Ling." Lings Coiffure provides a huge selection of eyes, hairstyles, and eyelashes for both the player and for NPCs. All FO3 races are supported as playable with complete agechains and over 150 new presets. This is a complete port of the FO3 mod by the original author, featuring inclusion of all resources and easy FOMOD installation. An optional female NPC file is included (LingsPrettyThings) if you thing the Mohave could use a facelift.

Why does this require fallout3.esm? I have a couple mods that require this mod, but if I run it with this mod selected, New Vegas crashes!

Use Wrye Bash to modify the dependency from fallout3.esm to FalloutNV.esm

If it requires Fallout 3, It probably needs Tale of Two Wastelands.

no and no it doesn't require ttw or fallout 3 both games run on the same engine (the EXACT same (this is easily seen by looking closely so many fallout 3 assets can be found in New Vegas in both in game content and cut content (why would Obsidian bother porting in fallout 3 assets and not use it with such a strict development time that's just a waste of time that can be put into other things) its not like saying Skyrim and fallout 4 run on the same engine)

He propbably mean that the mod in question was converted to TTW. That why it might need fo3. But the original mod was from fallout 3. I opened it does not seem to require fo3 at all ?

Is it possible to apply the new hairstyles to my avatar only and not the NPCs. I prefer NPCs having their default hairstyles

I was able to fix this error
this error is from tiger8u2
OK.....I got it downloaded and tried to run a bashed patch on my load order and I got this Wrye wxPython error:
if race.maleLeftEye.modPath != raceData['maleLeftEye'].modPath:
KeyError: 'maleLeftEye'

This doesn't happen on earlier versions of the mod I downloaded from the Nexus.

-------------------------------------------

You need to download note++ and edit bosh.py file. Is under fallout new vegas/mopy/bosh.py edit the file and fix the typo from the code line in the error. Look up the line number and fix from if race.malelefteye to if malelefteye.

Close wyre bash and rerun the bash compile and you should bash lings successfully. Cheers.

Hi, sorry I take back my comment of not being able to apply hairstyles on races. I downloaded the Ling's races mod and now my character is able to get different hairstyles which I was not getting before. Thanks for time and effort in turning this mod into reality.:)
