Hello,
Straight to the point. After years of hard-work L'Aigle finally has a release. This is a singleplayer only open alpha for the time being and it is admittedly rough around the edges. Please bear the following things in mind:
It is a very early alpha and lacks items and various content, it has tons of repeated scenes, it has native quests and features, it has a general lack of polish and so forth. Please remember it's the very first version and thus very rough. Over the coming months the mod will get new items, new quests, new scenes, new features and much more.
If you're not familiar with the mod or need a refresher, here is our latest trailer again:
The mod should be available from the 'downloads' section of this profile or one of the various mirrors that are going up soon. I'll update this news post as they are added.
Please read the description on the file and the read me contained within the .rar. I hope you enjoy the mod and I hope it gives you a taste of what's to come in the future.

Yay mod! But I have to say, just an Alpha? :( I hope that its a solid Alpha, and we'll see an out pouring of new versions to test and play soon :D
The Moddb upload failed a second time, so until that is sorted there are some mirrors added to the news post.

Discovered 2 bugs:
In France it rains in the castles too.
And when you Alt+Tab you instantly get an error regarding something by the name of Device3D could not be reset.
Wow, amaezing mod. But how can i join any fraction? I havent find it and from start there is nothing more to do than make quests and I beleave that paying 0 for your army/garison is not very good i beleave (i can have 1500 in castle and pay 0 for them). But is really good mod eaven in this alpha stage, nice done.

Belated congrats on the release, Docm30! I know the pain!
Release early, release often is a good motto that other modders should take more seriously. This isn't the 90's anymore; uploading is cheap, but the feedback of a sizable group of players is priceless.
Sometimes you're so clogged/swamped into development that is just the only viable option before getting burnt out. And getting your work exposed to others gives you clarity, perspective and direction.

I have a problem on the last patch1.2 when you wont a shoot from 1st person, the view change and you se the player from 3rd person quite far away and without a head.
Its really fun to se a maniac runin on a horse with no head and a gun on his hands shooting anywhere xD
Great mod, one thing I have noticed is that in village battles almost the entire enemy army get stuck behind a L curve fence.

i think this mod is just awesome. i had purchased the napoleon dlc and was loving it but was disappointed with the lack of single player (or even an effective AI on custom battle). This is perfect and i look forward to trying it. I would ask you to add some pics of naval battles to the screenshots though
