Description
This weapon will instantly drop the shields of any ship thus making the Avalon a key ship to use against larger ships.
It will also cause the Weapon and Engines of the target to be disabled for a short time. Attacking the Avalon requires plenty of escorts to protect your capital ships.

Well it's loads stronger than the Heavy Ion Cannon but much smaller than the Malevolence Ion Pulse which i like to call Mega Ion Cannon.
It's like the Hyper-Velocity Gun and Mass Driver. They're basically the same thing but different size.

I don't want to be the one to ruin your day guys, but when I saw this the first time, and now read the description there was only 1 word in my mind: "Overpowered".
Imo, it will unbalance the game.
The Alliance uses mostly frigates and this one is their faction leader modified ship. It's not much different than the Aggressor's mega ion and plasma cannons in vanilla FOC.
Seeing that the other factions use large ships with tons of guns while the Alliance uses small much weaker ships, this works out well for the re-balancing and scraping i'm doing right now.
This looks great! I really want to play this mod on my channel so I might not wait for the next release.
