About this mod
This mod is simply a retelling of Act 1 and Hanako's path with a different main character in Katawa Shoujo. I wanted to add more depth to the story by making a different main character as well as put my personal spin on it. I recommend that you play and/or complete Hanako's path without the mod to see how good the original story already is. Any positive feedback and constructive criticism is welcome.

Requirements
To use this mod, you must have one of the the Open Source versions of Katawa Shoujo, which can be downloaded from the downloads section below.
To my knowledge, the original version of KS is incompatible with this mod. The 2.0 version of KSOS is not either, but I will update that in the future I'm sure the 1.0 version of KSOS works perfectly. Both versions of KSOS can be used by those for those who wish to create some KS mods or translate dialogue to a different language. You also need WinRaR to open the archive containing the mod.
Installation
Before I go through the steps, the files in this mod overwrite the original files in KS's "game" folder, so look inside the mod's and KS's, and make a backup folder to put the original files IN the KS folder in case of future use! First, find your Katawa Shoujo Open Source directory (C:\Program Files\Katawa Shoujo Open Source\KatawaShoujoOpenSource).Next, copy the contents of the "game" folder from the KSBH mod directory and place them in the "game" folder in your Katawa Shoujo Open Source directory.

Hey i got a question for i have been looking for someone to mod an Akira route into the game and i was wondering if you would like to help the entire story is already written it just needs visuals and art for the background and a few more Akira models (different expressions) tell me what you think. :)
That sounds interesting, but I can't do any art from scratch. I'm only familiar with MSpaint and that won't be of much help to you I'm sure. IDK if I would do anymore with this game, but I support the idea. You could check with ARCemX, but he is always busy. He hasn't responded to me on steam for a while now. It's good that you are doing this, dispite what some might say.

Can I get some help? Everytime I replace the original "game" folder with the mod "game" folder and try to run it, I get this.

Don't replace the ENTIRE folder! Merge the mod's "game" folder with the directory's "game" folder and when it asks to overwrite the files, accept or make backup copies of the files in the original game folder then accept.
How funny that looks, I finished KS yesterday, and this mod comes up.
