Jedi Knight Galaxies is an immersive, competitive and innovative multiplayer shooter, played out in the Star Wars universe. Currently a full conversion mod (soon to go standalone), the project was originally based on and modified from Raven Software’s Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Jedi Knight Galaxies is available completely free of charge. We aim to develop the project into a Large Multiplayer Online game, crossing traditional RPG (role playing game) elements with the fast paced excitement of an FPS (first person shooter). The game is supported by its community and developers, contribution is encouraged and newbies are welcome. The current development team comes from a variety of backgrounds, countries, and age, united by our desire to make a great game. Welcome to Jedi Knight Galaxies, where we break the limits!

Wow dude, that's really impressive. I didn't think you could do that with this old game! That looks incredible.

wow this is amazing!! but just a question what timeline will this be in? since the dantooine jedi academy was destroyed about the time that Revan was captured by malak, yet you have weapons that dont fit that timeline. however when this comes out i will have(and want) to go through the hassle of reinstalling JK:JA

From our FAQ:

At what time in the Star Wars universe will JKG take place?

Between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope, after the events depicted in The Force Unleashed.

I don't know why but I had the feeling that this was based on the New Republic Era... or maybe that was the idea at the begi...? Oh nevermind forget my words :|

You certainly know your weapons! Most of those are in JKG but some are not. We are definitely looking at adding a few of those, especially the A280 which the entire team agrees we need.

A video demonstrating the inventory function in JKG, and with a nice touch for a finish, showing off part of the main menu.

(Note that we apologize for the stuttering in the video, this was caused by FRAPS and the game runs smoothly on its own)
