Have you ever wanted to sneak around the Quake universe, pick the right moment to bypass the guards or escape an angry mob trying to find you?
S1M1 - Shadowgate enhanced by the Darkplaces engine; real time lighting, custom particles and various shader effects.
I always wanted to see how the Quake'ish pixel look plus pixel shader would look.
Here it works out very well.
Love the fresnel effect on the slime.

I am also surprised how good Quake can look in the DP engine with subtle coloured lighting and a few nice shaders.
I wonder how is the slime moving, definitely want see that in action.
Unfortunately there is no surface triangle movement because of how liquids work with the Quake Compiler Tools. I did add a subtle turbulence and X/Y movement to the texture so that it gives the illusion of movement.
