'Is Alive' is a modification for Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. There are new recipes, new monsters, new monster abilities, new locations, new quests, end-game dungeon and the most important - the game is much more difficult. No new character skills, no new acts, no new characters, no new uniques, no new sets, no new runewords. 'Is Alive' isn't a total conversion mod, and it never will be. The mod can be downloaded as D2SE modplugin. Extract the file and the folder 'IsAlive' just copy into 'MODS' folder in your Diablo 2 folder :) Enjoy ;)
This version only fixes some (crucial) bugs. No new content added. Download and enjoy ;)
The only good bug is a dead bug :D
I found a bug very early on where the Boring Virgin in Cold Plains turn immune more frequently than not, kinda hard to level up at level 4 when they are turning immune every 0.2/0.3 seconds, just a heads up.
Correction, the bug in point is that for me some of the Boring Virgin(s) will not display that they have the Shielding buff while others do.
Level 4? You have some courage I see...
Increase your armor, so that they can't hit you and make themselves immune ;)
Anyway, thanks for reporting, but it looks like problem of Diablo engine than mod, so there is nothing I can do about this I'm afraid...
Ah alright then, thanks for the speedy reply!
I do have a question though, what is Corpsefire's Jewel used for?
Also what are crafting points and character achievements used for?
You'll find more items like this one. They are quest items (you can buy some quest tasks from Gheed in act 1), or they are required to craft special boss rare items (in this case you'll need to get Corpsefire's scroll - special recipe, drops rarely than item - Corpsefire's Jewel)
Crafting points are base ingredients used for crafting. Check some videos, you'll understand the crafting system ;)
Achievments are reward for quests. They have some usage now, but I plan to use them more in upcoming versions.
If you have any more questins, just ask, I'm glad to help you :)
Wish you happy playing ;)
Thanks for the answers, loving this mod. <3
Heh...what is the actual difficulty of the mod? Because it sure as hell isn't on normal with Bishibosh. =/
Yeah... superuniques are very powerful. But they drop quest items, their own recipes, and other cool things :)
If you have problems killing Bishibosh, this video might help you ;)
You're welcome :)
If you have any other thing to say, feel free to share your opinions / experience ;)
