Yep, congratulations guys, you definitely deserve it.
(actually come to think of it the last time we (ND) were in a mag we were told that our newspost wouldn't be allowed to go on the front page:
G'day, this is in relation to the latest news post you submitted for the mod Nuclear Dawn. Unfortunately, it has been denied authorisation to the front page news, due to modDB's policy regarding magazine scans: modDB would prefer that all news articles not directly related to the mod's own content be put in the news section of the mod profile and not on the front page. I have done as such. If there are any problems, feel free to PM me back.
Some clarification on policy would be helpful here...
P.S. I'm not arguing against IG getting exposure (they undeniably deserve it), it's more about knowing what is and what isn't allowed on the ModDB.
and not post in this as you do not want to take over a thread.
But the newspost is about 3 things -> mag scan, winning of noesis pack and announcing the olympics tournement.
If i remember correctly, ND got on frontpage with announcing their mapping tournement, so that pretty much explains it :)
Furthermore i second what Blueworlf said :P, lets keep this from other mods newspost (i remember i had a similar issue once, and simply pm'ed an admin".
Congratulations onn getting in the magazine :)
Calling that a "review" is pushing the limits of the English language somewhat. ;) Congrats anyway! :)
I downloaded this mod a few weeks ago and although I didn't get a chance to try it multiplayer (and the fact that in General mode it killed my PC!) but it does have a lot of promise.
PC Zone has been my favourite and most trusted gaming publication for years - I normally agree with just about everything they say. To see a mod getting such high praise and media attention definitely speaks volumes.
Well done all.
ROFL , I told him that too :P .. Its more like an erm . news snippet?
oeps, my bad :P
Well, actually Stuffie's (gotta outsource this blame to somebone :P)
you deserve it
yea pc gamer uk is better.... but pc zone is ok i guess....
Sounds like ND is a little jealous.. :P
