The Insurgency Team is proud to announce the upcoming release of Ins_Karam, a new map for Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat. In this preview you will be able to check its main features and explore some of its most defining landmarks.

Posted by Dr_Spielmann on Mar 25th, 2009

Ins_Karam is a map with 2 different fighting areas. Once the initial push for A is over, the action switches to the other side of the battlefield, where the fight for the next 2 objectives will take place. In this scenario, Insurgents are on the offensive and USMC forces will have to gradually fall back delaying the enemy's advance for as long as possible.

This level offers a great balance between close quarters and outdoors action, and we're looking forward to hearing your impressions as soon as you start playing it!

Looks great, but why are the USMC at a British base? :S
I thought British forces were going to be added to the next Beta.

Hehe, that's simple. British forces are to be added later, but the map is ready so we have adapted it for Beta 2.x (the existing client available on Steam) - hence USMC (the existing army) will have to defend a Coalition base (under British command). Amazing how can you twist the story around to make it fit, huh? :)

Lol what about a gamemode where only one Insurgent has a bomb and the soldiers need to control insurgents walking through the checkpoints

Or the Soldiers have to guard a convoy and the insurgents aree in to nuke it :P

Anyways, these are the thoughts these pics gave me, the map looks outright awesome.
