The year is 2055. After a war that destroyed much of the Western world, order is finally returning to the city of Sydney. As the surviving occupants of what used to be the grand city of Sydney rebuild, the self-appointed government of arrogant businessmen, rich families funded by drug dealing and careless millionaires, who only care about the rich. The “normal” people are stuck in distant suburbs with run-down housing, high crime rates and an intermittent food supply. But the government don’t care. They just lock you out of the city unless you can afford to live there, give you basic supplies and send you on your way. Even worse, outside of Sydney, everything is ruled by the malicious military composed of convicted murderers, psychopaths and violent police. It's a harsh world, and our only hope lies with the Rebels, a group of rebellious people who are constantly battling the military. We need some sort of miracle to restore order to what used to be a grand city.

Uhmm... HL2 has superior textures and looks better. Work on your lighting too.

Yeah, I have to agree that the HL2 one looks better out of the two...

This is DEFINITELY the best kerb in a game ever. The Infinity Violation one is the pinnacle of source engine level design.

sorry, but i have to agree. The hl2 one looks better.
Mainly because the other one make the walkway texture on the top look odd, that texture now goes on to were the kerb starts. don't know how to explain this well in English.
One other issue could be that the player has problems walking up to it, don't know but it could make that he now has to jump to get on to it. Haven't tested it, so i am not sure but i wouldn't be surprised if this is the case.

success,
leon

Thanks for the feedback. The player can walk onto it fine, its lower than 16 units. I will take what you said and try to fix it.

Looks decent.I'd repolish it though.
No idea if you want feedback on the other stuff, but perhaps ssbump the asphalt and the trottoir to give it a bit more depth.

The textures could use some work, but besides that. This is a pretty neat curb, kerb, however the frick you spell that.
