As awesome as this thing is, it seems a little crazy for a tank. It doesn't have nearly enough traction.

Oh wow, the weapons look really good. The tank (is cool but) needs to be moving slower. Other than that its nice.

this is a "proof of concept" demonstration. This will likely be redesigned around a script. Traction, weighting, speed and other variables will be determined after alot of testing.

Actually, seeing you walk around with a StG44 makes me enthusiastic for a Wolfenstein/Mortyr/Rise of the Triad-like game.
Obviously that's not what this mod is aiming at. Good job though!

I remember Wolfenstein, the other two idk. We want to have some grit in there if that is what you mean.

Description

this is the longest video I have made yet showing testing of this particular tank. Just me bombing around a tank-training map that I tossed together. The barriers are pretty rudimentary, I haven't spent any time dressing the map up, this is just a video to show turning and climbing, traversing difficult terrain, etc.

The screen capture software forces 40 FPS, however due to hosting a LAN to test this as well as making the video, simulated screens run at about 18 FPS, so while the footage may seem laggy, in-game it is not. This map maintains 90 FPS everywhere (on my rig) while driving the tank or not. The Battle of Kursk map (open field for tank battles) also gets 90 FPS everywhere with myself alone hosting a LAN. On a dedicated server(which we already have), depending on the player load, it should play between 45-60 FPS on a single-core PC.
