The Mod Independence of Chile, deals with the war of emancipation of the southern cone of South America of the Spanish Empire in the century XIX. The other realistic battalions, they decided to resist in the same way. The battalion of Arequipa was commanded by Jose Ramon Rodil, the hero of Sitio de El Callao.

Los otros batallones realistas, decidieron resistir de la misma manera. El batallón de Arequipa estaba mandado por José Ramón Rodil, el héroe del Sitio de El Callao.
Los batallones formaron el cuadro para resistir a la caballería. Los cazadores a caballo fueron rechazados, pero al formar el cuadro se convirtieron en un blanco más fácil para los fusiles de los infantes enemigos. Los batallones comenzaron a sufrir horriblemente por la fusilería y a continuación el 1º chileno cargó, para ser rechazado. El 7º de Los Andes lo intentó a su vez y fue asimismo rechazado. Los cuadros españoles, llenos de muertos y heridos, mantuvieron la posición. ;)
