Description

Then from the battalion of Burgos came voices, already legendary. "Here are the Burgos, Eighteen battles won, no lost," while they made their laureate flag flying, victorious in the battle of Bailén and in many other battles. The situation was tragic for them. The other realistic battalions, they decided to resist in the same way. The battalion of Arequipa was commanded by Jose Ramon Rodil, the hero of Sitio de El Callao.
The battalions formed the picture to resist the cavalry. The hunters on horseback were rejected, but in forming the picture they became an easier target for the rifles of the enemy infants. The battalions began to suffer horribly by the riflemen and then the Chilean 1st charged, to be rejected. The 7th of Los Andes tried in turn and was also rejected. The Spanish paintings, full of dead and wounded, maintained the position. ;)
