I think that creators are aiming for that, i remember when i played misery mod and when i was going to iron forest anomaly i was constantly on guard and watching for rocks to climb so that damn packs of dogs don't tear poor major a new one xD , locations without buildings will keep player alert and aware that they don't want to wander after nightfall, except if some quest needs to be done at that location at specific time, in that case lock and load your shotguns and hope for the best :D ... overall i like it
Crematory is a mini-map. It's special. There are no mutants, no people, no birds. Only the heat, flames, thermal anomalies, corpses...and shadows of the past. Actor will have a chance to investigate what happened to this place when the last Surge striked.
Any bigger buildings there? Looks nice but very empty.
