Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.
These are some upcoming (minor) changes to some Commonwealth units: The Humber Armored Car is now also available as the MkIII Version with the 15mm Besa Heavy Machine Gun.Universal Carriers now additionally can upgrade with a 2-inch light mortar. Both available for the Brits in the campaign missions. Trusck for quick & cheap troop transport as well. And some minor historical changes: Sherman Vs (M4a4s) have their loaders hatch removed, as well as the Sherman Firefly and the Centaur CS lost their hull MGs.
Amazing work! CoH Moddellers are as rare as a Jedi these days. Don’t you want to record your workflow to help speed up the lesser modders!
Well the workflow differs, from model to model. involves a lot of trial and error and therefore is quite time consuming. I would have to make a lot of pretty long recordings, which would need to be edited and such.
What is with the azimuth markings (I assume thats what they are) on the Centaur CS? was it to be used in some sort of indirect fire role?
Yes. From what I have read, those markings were especially applied for D-Day landings, so an external observer could stand outside on the landing craft and read immediately what direction the turret is pointing so he can lay them on to shore targets quicker.
Just make a recording of a simple Teller mine stahl Mine model and bone it and skin it (making normals) and OE and implementation in the game. This I’m sure takes 1 hour to do. Bitte
Sadly playing vs british AI lag unplayable, no matter which mod I've installed, even vanilla.
Wait... a mortar bren carrier?
yep. there was no official production or anything, but it was a pretty obvious field modification. just mount the mortar on top of the engine deck and there you go.
There were also 2 "official" 3-inch carriers, but one was built and exclusively used by the Australians , while the british/canadian vaiant just was modified to carry the 3-inch mortar at the rear , for firing it had to be set up outside, like the standard mortar
Hope for a Dodge WC51 (like something in CoH2) for Allies performs what UC do
