Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.
The orininal CoH Sherman model - the large hatch M4a3 - was not a very common sight in Normandy. The majorities of US Shermans were in fact M4s and M4a1s, so I wanted to add the actual M4 for quite a long time. Not without my usual treatment, though. Various randomized historical skins, randomized stowage and some extra equipment like hedgecutters and even Deep Wading Gear. Those are still attached in the first few missions after the landings. Just a visual but it might add to... well..the immersion. ;-)
CAV is on the field!
Hope to see GMC T27 "Xylophone" and Pool's Shermans for USA
Xylophone was rather rare and not used in Normandy if I am not mistaken. So at the moment not very likely. But Pools Sherman? The M4a1(76)W "In the Mood" you mean? Might be possible.
T27 Xylophone did use during in the battle of Brest by 2nd Infantry Division. However, American didn't put the rocket launcher on the truck until Battle of Bulge.
It as rare as M4 sherman with T34 Calliope.
Btw that was several British 7th Armoured Division Firefly IC/VC and Cromwell captured by 12 SS in Villages Bocage and around Caen which probably it was used later Falaise pocket.

Halftrack, I have spent many more hours playing your BotB than the vanilla (and believe me, I've been quite an intensive CoH player for years). For me that mod was the culmination that brought this game to its whole potential. I am full with joy to discover another of your artpieces. Looking forward to see more! :)
