Immersion 1944 is a - finally - Singleplayer Mod for Company of Heroes 1. It provides tons of historical skins, several new missions and enhanced campaigns that are altered to better mimic the historical engagements, with more correct units, bigger vehicle choice and lots of random stuff that makes every single vehicle or soldier look unique.

Nobody likes rain, so the Volksgrenadiers all put on their "Zeltbahn" Ponchos. The Schwimmwagen had its roof closed and turned on the lights.
Most small vehicles now do that automatically during nights or in bad weather conditions.
That is called immersion!
Niiiiiice! So this means that there'll also be visual changes on units depending on Map Weather? Will there be any other weather types besides rain and snow that'll affect models in this way?
just strong rain and night. and just a few units. i added that when possible and already available, like the canvas cover for Sdkfz 222 and 234.The Zeltbahn was often worn as camo in combat and was a common sight in battles anyway therefore I made it, not especially for rain. ;) But I might add more in the future...
I don't recall seeing a dedicated model for Zeltbahn earlier. Have you made a custom one or repurposed some other?

There was no volksgrenadeir division in normandy if i recall correctly.
Thats totally correct,during the missions there wont be any, but they are in the Multiplayer part, as this is untouched yet.
