Mobile Suit Gundam 0079-0083 Mod - Version 3.3 (REMASTERED UPDATE V.3)
The war between Earth Federation and Principality of Zeon has begun. It's now your chance to decide which side to join, develop your fleet, and destroy your enemies. By using the most space weapon, the Mobile Suits, your enemies will be crushed.
From original Gundam to Stardust Memory, One Year War to Operation Stardust, and everything else in between. It's the first and the only chance to command your Mobile Suits squared in full 3D space battle. There are also some secret units to be discovered as well.
WHAT'S NEW!
-F1 key now opens the Music Player menu with 46 Gundam BGM tracks!
-Player is set to RANDOM by default but play mode can be changed and songs can be selected from the playlist.

BUG FIXES
-Resource issue solved by A Zeon Zaku.
-Johnny Raiden's Gelgoog description fixed by GSLChar.
-Dom missile AoE explosion radius reduced - Was equal to the GP02's nuke AoE radius. Spotted by WackyModder84 and fixed by GSLChar.

- Starting up a Skirmish Battle with "Completed Research" enabled will disable CPU AI completely. Make sure to avoid doing this.

The method proposed in the read me doesn't seem to work.
It just causes the game to run normally (as in with no gundam stuff at all).
I found another way. Just put the gundam .big file into the folder (leave the english.big out) and then put -mod GundamUC0079CV.big instead of the stuff proposed in the readme. That works... but you know we left out the english big so none of the stuff has proper names. No clue why the read me instructions aren't working though.
Yeah sorry. Somehow ModdB logged me out. Got GOG v2.1. The shortcut method proposed simply doesn't work. If there is a way you could simply merge the english.big with the gundam.big file then it would be really easy to install.

I'm trying to contact you regarding the included english.big file (which can't or won't work no matter what I try). I don't know how to PM you on moddb but I'm trying to find out how. The mod is totally playable without the english.big file but all the unit names become 20132314 and the like.
So I fixed it...-mod GundamUC0079CV.big -mod English_g.big put these in your shortcut....be sure to have both files in the data file folder...and also makes sure to change the english file to english_g.big...just drop it on your desktop and change it...works perfectly now. Btw the mod reads 3.1. Not 3.3.

HEY guys finally i got it how to fix it with no number for text follow these easy step:
1. copy the 2 files and paste the file in \HomeworldRM\Data
2. make sure english.big(from gundam file) is changed to English_g.bit
3. add these command [ -mod GundamUC0079CV.big" - mod English_g.big] with no these symbol "[]" in target line after the HomeworldRM.exe"
which should be like this
"C:\GOG Games\Homeworld Remastered\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HomeworldRM.exe" -mod GundamUC0079CV.big" - mod English_g.big
i remember there were other games that use these command with 2 .big,
so should add [ " ] before -mod1***.big then add ["] before -mod2***.big
which look like these:
.exe" -mod1***.big" -mod2***.big
Yup this works. Try it out everyone. I wish someone would put out a guide for modifiers for shortcuts.
You sir are a godsend updated the readme and tumblr with these instructions in proper grammar
When I use Federation the game will crash to desktop when I save.
Also some of the graphics cannot be shown correctly such as the shield of GM-79C as well as their leg. Please help! thanks!
the GM bug is a WIP, does Zeon do the same thing for you when you try to save?
i can save without any problem when i play as Zeon.
But well I can play the whole match without saving so it will be alright. It may be my own problem.
I hope the GM graphic problems can be solve soon, thanks~

Is kinda fun to slaughter default Homeworld army with just a few Zakus or GMs, but against an actual mobile suit army is another whole different story :)

nah seem you wrote (English_g.big) inside your data file in HRM so it show number it didn't recognize it.
Try instead (English_g) delete the big part in data,it didn't need to be like the (exe )part adding big on the end.
I was confused on the old comment lol they use hard way and other cant understand how to fix it.
I was messing with file part in data then I realize I add (English_g.big) and the rest language doesn't have big on it end.
Bit late hope you still play it lol.
Okay, so I just got around to reinstalling Homeworld and I fixed it, but now I forgot how to fix it, but it was not this method. Okay I got it, the shortcut does not launch a -mod after the first -mod.
so how did you get it working? I'm trying to get this version working on steam, since the english version was removed from the workshop, and the mod loads fine, but the unit and faction names are all numbers.

I thought Char's Zaku 2 mobile suit was colored red. Why is it not red in this latest version of the mod? Is it originally colored red in previous versions?
