Well, I've finished translating that single mission we did so far, as well as the basic skirmish mode, now you can well enjoy them!
Three .big files will be used. Put them into your data folder.
Main File: dtmod.big
Music Package: dtmusic.big
Localized FIle: dtlocal.big
but...I don't know why, there's a...little problem here:
If everything is correct, then use following commandline:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big -locale dtlocal
It should work but without voices (that's because there isn't a dtlocalspeech.big)
If it works fine, then copy your englishspeech.big and raname it to dtlocalspeech.big then enjoy
You may also use:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big,dtlocal.big
without copy your englishspeech.big
You may also remove dtmusic.big from both data folder and commandline, by doing so, you'll not allowed to play SP Campaign or enjoy DT MOD's selected Music. But the mod itself would still work fine.
But somehow, it seems to be quite possible that it doesn't work. You may not be able to get into the game at all. I don't know why but I figured out a solution:
If this really happened, then use the forth .big file like this:
-mod dtmod.big,dtmusic.big,dtlocal.big,dttest.big
Remember that the ORDER IS VERY IMPORTANT, dttest.big should be loaded LAST.
Hopefully that would work, I'm using this method right now so I would have no idea if it won't.
Strange thing is, dttest.big only contains an unmodified newmainmenu.lua from the original HW2!
Does someone know possible reasons why such a problem occurs?
Nice.
good job!don't give it up!
