I hope you people think this one is better than the other, because it's from an actual real life picture of the sun :P
Only other thing I can think of to improve stars even more is to have the texture animated so it's more realistic like this Youtube.com but I don't think animated textures work for HW2 (if someone knows anything about that they are possible plz tell).
If animated textures did work, imagine what the Beast ships would look like. O_o
Yeah I thought of that before, wishing it could be done as well as 3D beast goo, so it looks like infected ships are "alive" so to speak.
the real life sun is fake! :P but nah this one looks alot better!
yea this one looks better you should blure it some so it gives teh distinction of a corona and being far away plus it might look better
the glow is actually a navlight btw....a really REALLY big one, but still a navlight :P
I'll do what I can with what HW2 allows (which isn't a whole lot).

Yeah I should make other colors for stars like white and blue, and make other real ones.
lol ones like the pistol star or deneb...would probably cause HW2 to blow up they are so big.
