Hi,

To minimize the chances of becoming a victim of technical issues please always use the latest version of the FX mod & the v1.1 patch.
Furthermore, FX was developed for usage on Windows XP / Win7 and may yield issues when attempted to run on other platforms / OS.

If you do experience issues, a fresh re-install tends to solve a lot of them:

The.Basic.Solution wrote: A fresh install of Homeworld2 / FX tends to solve a majority of issues.
If you want to save your badges/player profiles, screenshots & custom maps make backups of the Bin\Profiles, Bin\SCREENSHOTS and Data\leveldata folders respectively.

1. Uninstall Hw2 and all its components
2. Reinstall in this order:
- Homeworld 2
- v1.1 patch
- FX mod (English version)


If this does not work try to see until what part your client still works (eg. until the installation of v1.1 patch). Take notes and move on to solution #2.
