1. Custom Maps are not supported in FX
- This can be solved by creating a 'deathmatcheprandom' folder in your \leveldata\multiplayer directory and putting the maps there.
Details are found [here]. Not possible in 2.0 (bug)

2. '1065$ 1245$' Errors
- These are broken strings of text that are either:
A) Untranslated fragments (Chinese text not translated into English)
B) Replacements for Chinese words (your computer does not have a Chinese language pack installed).

3. Bentusi Crashes
- The Bentusi are an unfinished / experimental race. They are playable in the mod so that you can try them out, but they are not a fully functional / playable race yet. Therefore expect crashes when more than one player / CPU uses uses the Bentusi.

Bentusi removed as of 2.0

4. No Fixed Starting Positions
- This bug surfaced in FX v1.84 and affected all releases up to v1.88. Fixed in 2.0.

5. Crashing to Desktop / Out of Sync
- Known to be caused by using the Homeworld Classic gameplay mode.
- Known to be caused when accessing the tutorial (2.0)
- Known to be caused by the Music Player in multiplayer (2.0)

6. Tutorial missions won't load
- Another installed mod (most likely PDS) is conflicting with FX.

Solutions?
A fresh reinstall tends to solve a lot of the problems: [click]

Final Note
FX is still under development. While the the team tries to track down and fix bugs as soon as they can, bear in mind that they are human and have lives too.

A lot of past bugs (global chat not supported, no custom colors on Taiidan etc.) have already been fixed fixed, and the amount of bugs in the new versions is significantly lower compared to older ones. You can help the team by posting newly discovered bugs in this forum and remaining patient while they fix them.
