Beautiful looking texture especially the gold detail, My only comment is the bottom (slab) under the barrel looks very flat.. does it serve any purpose-contain anything as it would else make the end fo the gun very heavy.
The space under the barrel shall house magnetic accelerator and targeting cogicator to ensure that the wrath of the emperor shall be cast on those who deserve it!
A heavy barrel is exactly what you want in a large calliber weapon, it will soak up the recoil and keep the gun from jolting up after each shot. Not many revolvers make use of that, but it really helps with keeping the gun under control.
That & its adds some weight & killing potential when bashing in heretics skulls >;)

In reply to your reply of my reply on the WIP01: The "roll where the bullets are kept" is actually a cylinder. The cylinder needs a gap between it and the barrel so it can revolve, hence the name "revolver."
I'm a bit of a gun nut, so little stuff like this just niggles at me. Other than that 1 little niggly bit, I love it.
Gun nutness is not a bad thing and to answer to your original question, yes there is suppose to be a gap but due to previously unnoticed vertex displacement the lower gap has closed. I will be fixed.
I love that gold on the barrel. It gives it that Inquisitorial look that you were looking for. Great job on it, I can't wait for more. As a side question, what caliber is this (or best guess) and how much recoil will it have?
Welll I was thinking something along 50.cal, though the bullets are quite a lot longer than normal bullets. Kick is going to be tremendous nevertheless and firepower will be even greater. :D
