Vakoda is simply re-uploading the work of the original Korean mod author. It isn't really their place to edit the mod.

That said... I looked into it and there's two ways to go about it. One is to extract the entire pak0.pak file and then recompile it without the new fungus(small).mdl file, while the other is just to repack the zip but with the original model included in a models\ folder.

The first option would be directly altering the original author's work (which they might be fairly sensitive about), while the latter, while still including the nude model, does preserve the author's intended experience.

Either way... 99.9% of people aren't really gonna see this particular model anyway, so is it really worth the effort?

RTSL rules doesn't apply to ModDB though, tons of adult mods / addons are hosted here. I don't know the context though, was there a nude model used in the mod, I don't remember anything like that, or did the uploader add it?

and some maybe thought that the uploader put that model and can put them into trouble
Since it's compiled in the .pak file, i think the dev put it there as an easter egg (at least he can censor the model a bit)

Inappropriate to who though? There are tons of mods here that feature nude women or sexual acts, hell, go check out Hour-Glass or Adam mods for HL that's been up for download on this very site for years. That very same female model (I'm assuming it's the classic nympho.mdl) has been used in multiple "inappropriate" scenarios in those mods too.

What's the context though? I don't remember any nude women in Residual Life in-game, did Vakoda, the uploader of this file, add it on his own? And if it's buried in the files, then why is it such a big deal?

I checked the files, and Vakoda not put there obviously.
It's put there most likely by the dev or somebody else who originally give the archive to RTSL.

And at least Hour-Glass has a warning in it and I don't remember Adam had sexual scenes (after all, I've didn't played Adam for a long time).

Exactly, that mod is called Adam like I mentioned above, it's still up and there is no reason it shouldn't stay up. Since when HL is PG-13?

Creative freedom is what makes mods fun, as long as what you include is legal, go crazy. No creator should compromise their work in fear of the possibility that some people will react negatively towards it.

You did the right thing with uploading it as is. The sole task of a re-uploader should be just that, re-uploading a lost / missing / unavailable media without altering anything so that people can experience it again. This is community service, the goal isn't "righting wrongs" or anything like that.

I just wanted to say about that the model is literally a nude and uncensored female model that has literal sex animations in it and i wasn't aware about that the model is used nowhere but i wonder why toxagen put there, that's the question.
