Description
So I was working on a map for the mod and most of the base layout is done and I'm moving onto detail. Its Completely Work In Progress. Lighting currently is horrible. Sky might change too.
But does anyone want to have a guess as of where the map is based off? Or what conflict its in.
Remake of Hill 400 from DH? Westwall?
looks like the Hurtgen Forest, so im gonna guess Hill 400 or even just a random battle in Hurtgen... since its Rangers though... so maybe Vossenack?
Not hill 400. I was thinking of doing that. But its hard to portray realistically. Both DH and Call of duty 2 don't have it right lol.
But is in in the Hurtgen forest. You got that right. The map is actually a valley both these screenshots are from opposite sides of the map lol. This image is part of the Siegfried line's tank defenses. Which I've actually done wrong here and have now fixed it.
Maps Inspired by a movie (Its pretty damn historically accurate for its budget). Any guess which movie.
I would like to see some more pics of this map, I actually started to make a similar map few weeks ago based on the Hurtgen forest/ Kall valley, good thing that I found out that someone was making a similar looking map already so I can change mine a bit (If I'll ever even finish it, haven't made any maps before and I ran into some issues already).
And I guess that movie you were refering to is When trumpets fade?
