Harvest is a custom story for Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which places you in the shoes of Liam Connelly, a journalist for the Irish Record. Following a tip from the lead detective on a case he's been covering, Liam travels to a restored castle estate in County Kilkenny in hopes of breaking the story as it unfolds.

Harvest will be developed in several stages, running concurrently. The stages, and their estimated starting/ending dates are listed below.

Modeling:
Present - August 31, 2011
Harvest relies heavily on custom models and textures. Those will be first priority.

Mapping:
Present - October 15, 2011
There are write-ups for 12 maps in Harvest, with work proceeding on a 13th. This will be the bulk of the mod, and is therefore the most likely to have setbacks. Thus, a substantial amount of time has been allotted to it.

Scripting:
August 15, 2011 - October 15, 2011
Harvest should not rely heavily on scripts. However, sufficient time has been allotted that script fine-tuning can be performed and bugs can be fixed. This time will also be used for fleshing out story elements such as script and notes. Sound editing will begin during this phase, and run until the final test release.

Demo Release:
September 1, 2011
This release will feture the first four maps of Harvest, and will be open to the public for testing and preview.

Testing Phase 1:
September 1, 2011 - October 1, 2011
Feedback will be taken during this stage. Bugs will be fixed and critiques/player preferences will be noted for later implementation.

Test Release:
October 15, 2011
Information from the demo release will be incorporated into the game prior to its test release. This release will include the entire story, give or take minor details.

Testing Phase 2:
October 15, 2011 - November 15, 2011
The purpose of this release is playtesting, so a detailed survey will also be made available, with the developers' request to fill it out upon completion of the story.

Final Release:
December 1, 2011
Harvest should be completed by December 1 of this year. Assuming no setbacks, the two weeks succeeding Testing Phase 2 should be sufficient to correct any issues and fine tune the experience for players.
