A Halo Wars mod to match the modern era... This mod overhauls Halo Wars, some examples of this would be adding brand new units, cut content, unseen abilities and new leaders onto the battlefield. With new units comes new buildings as well, no longer is the meta cemented in the ground. This mod doesn't only add, it also changes core components in the game, allowing speedy gameplay while still being counterable.

Have you had any luck trying to mod HW2? I haven't really had any success, those UWP apps are a massive pain to work with.
Need Phx tool to update for HW2 if I was to crack into the files. I've looked at them and they're the same format as HW1. I asked a CA Dev about it and he confirmed HW2 is off of the HW1 engine.
I have the files unlocked and the tool still works on the .XMB files. There's still some HW1 data left, the files have the exact same structure so it would be easy for us to make changes. I'm trying to figure out how to run the unlocked files.
GameCheat13 has a HW2 mod on his YouTube channel, so he must have usable tools.
Yep. Hes not allowed to share his files though. Microsoft banned him once already so I think he's trying not to get banned a second time.
If I do any mod videos with HW2 I'll be removing the UI that shows my gamertag, can't trust Microsoft to leave my profile alone.

I've spent days and hours looking for a way to do it.
Trying that right now! The files HW1 uses for models are UGX and DDX, so far I've been able to view the textures (DDX).
