Excellent textures. I think it should hug the hull a little bit more though.
It is pretty close to the hull, the big spots are just where the ship has an obvious hole like at the back where it prongs.

Are you guys also making the slipspace jump effects they had in halo 2 or are you just going to leave in the vanilla effects?
There are already custom jump effects in place.
