Eh, what's up with the Halogen logo stealin'? :P
Actually I got it off a forum post a long long time ago (about a month after HALO came out) and stuck the image on my hard drive. While that gaming forum is no longer there, the image has floated around quite nicely on the internet and is based off that original pic (Know who did it? Let me know, I'll credit you.) But I'm pretty sure that image is owned by either Bungie or the fans themselves, not a particular artist. This is a redone vector version, complete home made and scalable to any size.

Yeah, the actual H3 design is closer to the one you mentioned. Now that H3's been out, we have official reference material to work with :)
