Evolutions is a "Halo Wars" style mod for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that features epic ground and air warfare on a massive scale. Evolutions brings many instruments of war from the Halo universe to life, allowing the player to fight as the Covenant or the UNSC in epic battles based on iconic Halo locales.

Honestly they are not all that crazy. Exclusivity for games to certain platforms/systems has been in the gaming industry since the start.
If its crazy then why dont they release Halo Wars 2 onto steam just like how they did with Spartan Assault?
Ah yes thats right, its because its a highly anticipated game and what better way to get more people to use their Windows 10 than to have it as an exclusive?
It hurts the brand and hurts their credibility since they keep making greedy decisions
I honestly would not have a problem if it was only a Xbox 1 exclusive, but the fact they are shoehorning it in on Win10 and denying its ability to be used on older OSs just tears it for me

Because the xbox is getting upgraded to a psudo-windows 10, this allows all games to interface with the pc-based windows 10.
So alot of games are going to be windows 10 only.
This trend of **** the new version of windows gets old after awhile, besides, you need 10 for dx12 support anyway.

Halo Wars 2 is only available for Xbox One and Windows 10, so Windows 8(.1) and other windows OS versions are not going to run Halo Wars 2. It will probably be a game that you can download via the marketplace only, or you get a redeem code from it.
Good thing we have Evolutions, because I'm not planning on leaving Windows 7.

Well Windows 10 is free to upgrade if I'm not mistaken. So what you could do is just get a dual boot system; have Windows 10 and your current OS. Use Win 10 for Halo Wars 2 and your previous OS for everything else. There's quite a bit about Windows 10 I can't stand but really it was like this when Windows 7 first came out too.
Windows 10 has a lot of really shady stuff in it, botnet programs and a whole lot of features that will automatically turn off if you disable them or just outright will not disable
Of course Halo Wars looks better, but what really matters is gameplay, and If I never liked Halo Wars gameplay, even Not playing that
It looks great but given it is shackled by its console brother the strategy won't go beyond. 1)Make blob of units 2)Tell blob to take objective point 3)Attack enemy blob and see if you win the Rock>Paper>Scissors game.

Well, the difference between halo wars 2 and this mod is that halo wars 2 is from the actual story line, and this mod is just fan made but way expanded

Good thing C&C3; should work great with Wine. Hence we get Evolutions and all other mods for the main game on GNU/Linux.
