Okay, it's Parasomnia 2.0 now! Ya dig? We are taking a short recess from Redridge, which will probably be out in 2026, to work on that Parasomnia update we left on ice six thousand years ago.
Hello and welcome to what will someday be Parasomnia 1.5 2.0!
First and foremost...One of the reasons things are taking so long is that I have to go through and optimize, and in some cases even rebuild huge sections of various maps which, for some reason refuse to compile. I'm nearly finished with implementing the journal feature and writing the entries. They will not only give the player helpful hints, but offer insight into the lore and never-before-seen glimpses into Half-Rats' little mind.

I'm also having issues with optimization, hence having to rebuild huge swaths of iconic levels. Not sure how something that compiled fine 6 years ago all of a sudden has issues, but, hey, that's modding for ya'!
A much brighter, but horribly-bugged Para3.bsp. Prominence Hotel really went downhill after the cataclysm.
In addition to optimizing, implementing and writing journal entries, we are working on the skippable dialogue system - which will allow ree-rees to skip dialogues, cutscenes and monologues and ruin the story as much as they want. This will allow more gaming time before diaper changes and banana pudding is scheduled.
Shepard is working on the code for this - then I will be implementing this manually for nearly every instance in the game. How wonderful.
After that, the Half-Cat weapon will be optimized. I think. Then we recode the f**ked up bosses. Then, and only then are we done. But for now, we aren't even close to closed testing. So, that's it for the main body...

The gatling gun looks a lot better. I might make it sound better too...I dunno'. No more doughnut jokes. That's all done now.

I made the cops nearly indigo in color so they can be spotted easier. Some of you asked for this, and it was a reasonable request.
Also, we FINALLY got this goofy-a** Jack Black-lookin', pilgrim hat-wearin' motherf**kin' freak OUT of the game as the player model. I GROW WEARY OF HIM!
And placed the ACTUAL, INTENDED freak in his place as the true, really real player model:
