Heath Games' Second installment of the Horror Mod series, "Half-Rats". Taking place in July of 1883. Soundtrack courtesy of Ague. Beware, this mod is pretty much NOTHING like Half-Life.
Yeah, I never found that feature helpful either. I always thought I just don't understand the way it works, but it seems no one does. What I do to find leaks is put a giant solid cube that takes up 1/4 of the map and shrink the parameter from there on through compiling and testing.
When you import the pointfile, Hammer gives you the option to either import the LIN or PTS. Choose the LIN file. It cuts out all the unnecessary lines that are just there to **** you off.
yep its pretty much useless even in the simple of the cases of leak, but its a good way to remember to close every single part of the map or you are doomed following that useless redline
Wait...so if I make a ton of scribbles, add some wasted time, hatred, anger, blood sweat and tears, etc. to said scribbles, I can become a mod developer?
Putting a box that is 2/5 of the map and hollowing it seems to work. But that will take more time to compile. IDK if putting NULL Textures speed the compilation... You could try.
Putting into a box makes compiler take more time but also your map is much worse optimized, it's especially unforgivable in multiplayer games. It takes less than 2 minutes to find a leak with red line though! It looks like spaghetti, but spaghetti is good!
If you could digitally suck on one end of the noodle and it would lead you to the leak, then you'd be right...but good luck finding the "end". 2 minutes? What are ya'? Some kinda' Savant or somethin'? A friggin' Ivy league genius? get aahhhtah heeeeyah!
Hahahahah! :D

Couldn't have said it better myself. Most of the time it just confuses the **** out of me.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE LEAKS THEY ARE EVILLLL!!!!!!!1
He's done
"Why ru done??" Warren Harper28
You used the PTS or LIN file ?
The PTS one.
Ahhhhh the leaks are so annoying!!
The LIN file is way more useful.
How do I do?

Tried the LIN file...looked exactly the same.
PTS file? More like PTSD, amirite? So, you guys are saying this LIN woman can help me?
Just but a box around it. Heard it works really well.
8000 Years to compile this if I do that...GS = Evil.
This is why we need cryosleep.

Yep!
And if you finish on time despite all of that you graduate to become a game developer.
